First off, we're so sorry - we've been absolutely rubbish at sending out proper wedding invites. Life got the better of us, and somehow the whole official "wedding stationery" thing didn't quite happen....
BUT! We are still getting married, and we'd love for you to be there!

Spaces at the registry office are limited so if we haven't specifically asked you to that part of the day, please don't worry we absolutely can't wait to see you at the Garden Party afterwards, which is where the real fun starts anyway! All the details for the party are here.

Our Story (so far...)
Ours is a very modern love story — think dating apps, cautious optimism, a few algorithms, and a happily ever after.
We met on Bumble in April 2021 (yes, Faith made Phil work for it — her filters were tight). But he got through, made her laugh (a lot), and they had their first date at WeSUP (now Otto’s) in May. The spark was instant — so much so that Faith asked for a second date the very same weekend. Phil has never let her forget this moment of boldness.
From there, things clicked. They discovered they were both born in Torquay, moved away for uni, then lived in London — at one point even working in the same building without ever meeting. Both were close to their families and ready to come back to their hometown to settle down — if only they could find the right person to do it with.
Fast-forward to September 2023: Faith (and her cat, Jigglypuff) moved into Athluain with Phil. Together, they dreamed of starting a family and began IVF shortly after moving in together. The journey brought them even closer — through hope, heartache, and even a car crash that wrote off Faith’s car (she’s fine — but she really liked that car). In March 2024, the best news arrived: they were expecting! And on a perfect December day — Phil’s birthday, no less — little Casper arrived and made their world complete.

The Proposal 💍
Now, everyone knew Faith wanted to marry Phil. Including Phil.
And on a sunny Saturday in May 2025, Phil popped the question — not on a fancy trip, but by recreating their first date almost exactly 4 years to the day. Starting with a wholesome brunch at Otto’s, this time with a baby in tow and a Bloody Mary spilled everywhere (classic Casper). Then a romantic promenade around to Torre Abbey, where Phil casually suggested a bench break, before getting down on one knee and hitting Faith with the most heartfelt surprise of her life. So heartfelt, in fact, that she forgot to say yes for a moment (and needed reminding/convincing that yes, this WAS our first date and yes it WAS 4 years ago...😄).
Spoiler: she said yes.

Why We’re Here
Originally, they were planning a garden party to celebrate Casper’s arrival. But when the engagement happened, that plan grew — because when you know, you know. So now, you’re invited to something even more special: a celebration of love, laughter, new chapters, and two people (and one very cute baby) who can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
And they couldn’t imagine doing it without you there.
